I've been falling asleep at 7 like a lot lately. I feel like I have no energies left anymore sometimes when I come home, and it's weird. But I was talking to Brad and he was telling me that people just have varying different levels of energy and I think that's true, but I'm just running on empty as of late. So I forgot to post these when I made them, but that's okay because now I can report on feedback too. So I made both of them and then they were both premiered through Discobelle. But we've honestly gotten such nice feedback on our new EP it's nice. Hudson Mohawke, who produced some tracks on YEEZUS, liked, and so had Manfredas (he used "Better Off Alone" to open up his podcast for Relish), and more. I'll post screenshots on the bottom.

I wrote pretty much all this material over a year ago when I was feeling like no one in this world could ever give in to being with something like me. It was a time when the wind blew and I stood outside holding my mouth open to catch anything that came in. It's like that time was something where part of my being had given up. But I'm happy not to feel like that anymore, at least not today. I'm not an easy person, not because I'm difficult, but because.... well, yeah.

Discobelle premiered our new video for "Better Off Alone" too.

I remember finally listening to the first edit for our "Heartbeats" remix on the Staten Island Ferry as we were passing right through the Statue of Liberty. John and I were coming back from a long day in the city headed back home. Now I'm here at home needed to go clean and walk the dogs.

"3" is going to be out everywhere tomorrow including iTunes and Spotify.

One day while I was going to the doctor ( I was walking) and after some terrible things that happened BF was skyping or whatsapp-ing me or something and telling me that 34MAG wanted a mixtape and to send over songs. I originally was like omg frantic omg gotta send over songs but I really wanted to send over things that were more having to do with my life mood at the moment. So I chose a ton of instrumentals, classicals, scores, and even when I was on the way I just started singing this remix of Bjork's "Human Behavior".  For me the tape just purged a lot out of my system, and as always, BF manages to complete the other half of what I'm feeling as well. But the tape really reflects the dynamic changes in our lives from when we first began. Who knew how much two years can change you, you know?

In the beginning I was one of those people that thought that somehow there was some sort of way to become, or at least, create art. Of which is total shit. The only real way it to constantly express yourself and to also allow yourself to live and maybe sometimes not do something "creative". Sometimes you have to absorb and gain to be able to express. What can one express if there is nothing happening to you, vero? So this kinda leads to the lateness in my posts but really I've only been late a week or two, 10 days to share our EP to be exact but yes it is true -- so much can happen in 10 days, let alone one minute or 2 seconds.

So for me this EP really captured for me just emotions I was living and dealing with that would in many ways sound explicitly deranged if spoken out but luckily Boyfriend and I somehow in someways communicate with each other even if I can be extrely unfiltered, with no censor bar, as life should be. Becuase if we all want to censor our true feelings we are therefore invalidating a flow of information and ideas as well as experiences. So for me this EP, while I have my many thoughts on would rather have each person listen to and of course make their own judgements on it. I'm so proud of both of us in the success that we have had and even if nothing ever happened I would be so happy to be able to list off the things that have occured to us. We will continue to work but for now this is our EP. And yes, the album cover looks effed up above, it looks like it does below

danke schön to: the illuminati, Ophex, Teenage Tasteless, our fans, and Embody <3

So like you knowwwwwwww, I'm in a band, and this is our mixtape!

"You know, monamiejorge†apes bring people together. Last year when Boyfriend made a tape for me we ended up in a band, this is our band's mixtape. As soon as we had our first song and video, "Vergine", it caught the attentions of like everyone, including people like: Diplo, Eve Berlin, Little Boots, Dinamo Azari, My Panda Shall Fly, and a ton more (I say this because I literally can not remember how much attention we received). Then we made a cover of "Call Me Maybe" and that was huge too. It was everywhere from Elektro Mag to being selected as one of the best videos of the week by Electronic Beat (T-mobile's website). Anyways not saying all this so Im convincing you how great our band is or anything, these are just cool things that have happened -- and now here's our mixtape. Through out it you can hear me singing Shania Twain, and it includes a lot of music that just fit us. We're releasing our EP soon too. for more WEARE18 catch us here: www.facebook.com/wearrr18credits"

been busyyyy, and having what I would call a mental vacay. I remember reading this thing, I believe in the nytimes, about how it's good to just unplug rather than be busy for no reason. Now I will attest that even on a mental vacay I've physically busy, and working on stuff like the following:

and this is what's coming up nexxxxt:

our upcoming WEARE18 EP
new single from Roby Howler and Sir Nenis, releasing this Tuesday

so, yeah. Boyfriend and I are working together in this new band/collab, and I love it. I had actually been afraid to ask Boyfriend first because well, we didn't know each other well and you never know -- bitch coulda been crazy! But regardless I did email Boyfriend and luckily BF accepted to work on this together. So far I have recorded two more songs, one or two written -- so we're still infants, kinda, but i know what i wanna do -- and yesterday we released our new music film + song! major love!!! (i do vocals, BF does everything else) everyone has been really getting into it, even diplo tweeted bout it, got lil internet to call the cops on us. super nice email responses from other people, and yeah! so I'm happy. I shot this vid in front of an apartment complex and in the scene where i am beating my face with a dick, at one point I noticed and older person with a garden on their second floor balcony looking my way. i thought i was getting the cops called on me, never came, but what would i have said about the flashlight and dildo in my bag? lol. i mean i coulda said, "wanna play?" but i would be too afraid to be on that damn sex offender list. :(

I asked Boyfriend to make a mixtape inspired by Kinky Boots. Why? Well who ever just asks someone to be inspired by such divine and potent smelling footwear. I love kinky boots because they're this item that people seem to be enthralled by... I think because they're hot?! They are also the youtube porn of the millennium. Sometimes I wake up and think that I would like to have my own series of boots videos but then I don't do it, and then another day goes on.

Boyfriend turned it out on this tape because instead of creating some gross german-sex-like-bondage music he took the idea that kinky boots can be sensual, erotic and overall just as delicate as my ears.
The entire tape is an incredible blend of what I can only wish someone who was deflowering me played in the background as I squirted a bit of blood on the sheets.

Love, don't we all wish we had it?
